Design and construction of photovoltaic power plants

GIGA GEORGE provides complex services in design and development of solar photovoltaic power plants at each stage of project implementation.

Consulting services of GIGA GEORGE in development and management of PV power projects include the following stages:

Feasibility Study (selection of proper land area, preliminary Solar Audit)

Change of the status and designation of the land and obtaining the required permits and licenses

The services within the above listed stages include the following activities:

Feasibility Study and preliminary Solar Audit

– On-site inspection of the particular terrain, calculation of horizon angle and imaging the terrain topography

– Evaluation of the solar irradiation and the meteo data

– Check-up of existing infrastructure around the selected terrain

– On-site measurements with a test PV system

– Development of preliminary technical design

– Calculation of the investment amount and the target incomes/costs and rate of return

– Make-up of business plan

– Report compliant to Regulation No. 16-27/22.01.2008 for evaluation of the available and forecasted resource potential for production of power from renewable energy sources

 

Procedures till obtaining building permit

– Permit from the Municipality for preparation of Detailed Zoning Plan (PUP)

– Legal Opinion by the local electricity operator for approval of the Detailed Zoning Plan (PUP)

– Legal Opinions by Water Supply and Sewerage (ViK), Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Waters (RIOSV), Sea and River Basin Directorate, Irrigating Systems EAD, fire safety directorate

– Certificate for land categorization and land classification (boniten ball)

– Decision of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food

– Preliminary contract with the local electricity operator for interconnection to the power grid

– Order of the Municipality for approval of the Detailed Zoning Plan (PUP)

– Decision for changing the designation of the agricultural land

– Preparation and approval of PUP for the right of cabling junction and interconnection to the power grid

– Design visa

– Preparation and approval of a design for (re)construction of overhead lines at the power plant site
